Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

Abcess Grenk's Erguss Von Licht, crafted by Lincoln, Nebraska-based artist Marc Myers, showcases a fusion of analog electronics and experimental guitar work. Using a vintage Behringer 2600, Behringer Poly D, Eurorack Modular Synth rig, and a 1969 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp, Myers channels decades of sonic experimentation into a deeply textured, evocative album. Recorded between 2022 and 2023, and mixed with Audacity, this release captures an analog warmth and DIY ethos, amplified by Myers' homemade distortion pedals and a classic Akai 2-Track Reel-To-Reel. A testament to Myers' enduring artistry since his beginnings in the early 1980s, Issue 2 transcends genre boundaries, offering a raw, immersive listening experience.
